01-05 ALIFE與LEVIS合作的project
,位於紐約的會場只開放1個月即結束經營,而會場有點像是gallery的空間結合音樂並販售限量獨賣的商品, 在走廊的兩旁放的都是LEVIS極具VINTAGE紀念價值的海報,而限量合作的商品,除了ALIFExLEVIS501還跟多位品牌.藝術家合作teeshirts像是FUTURA.ANYTHING等等


06-09是ALIFE與KANGOL合作的project,
他們雖然合作的是beanie商品,但是首日販售的場地並非舉行在selected store或是一些不近人情的地方,反而舉辦在紐約的溜冰場,並邀請群眾一起加入,他們在會場搭了個篷子內有小餐點.飲料,大家可以在裡面聊天或是在外面溜冰皆可,完全不擺出品牌高傲的架子


10-11是兩個禮拜前ALIFE與NAS合作的project,2008.JULY.15 NAS發行新專輯STATE OF MIND,發行前晚(14日)NAS至ALIFE位於紐約蘇活區158rivington club street的後廣場做現場的表演,並發行限量的teeshirts & lighters

相信這些活動都再次說明了ALIFE不只是個品牌,也別再拿別的品牌作相較了ALIFESTYLE LIKE NO OTHER!!!

或許在台灣的消費者比較無法感受到這幾年KANGOL的變化?!
但身為供應商及DAVID的好友,真的深深地體會KANGOL這幾年在市場上的表現已並非印象中的英國老牌,但是在品質上仍然始終堅持最好的,從物料開發-打樣-修正樣-... 每個階段的要求都是為了呈現出最好的ㄧ面,在設計與行銷方面更與以往有所有不同,這也是為何Hiroshi會與KANGOL合作的原因之一.

DAMN!! IT'S BLEK LE RAT!!

DO YOU HEAR OF BLEK LE RAT?!
BANKSY的名聲自從台灣有了中文翻譯書之後,現在應該連不少台灣人也都耳聞過他的名字吧... 那您聽過 BLEK LE RAT 嗎? 您看過它第二幅作品曾出現在BANKSY的網頁中嗎?
前幾個月時看到BANKSY作品在香港展出覺得很屌,心想何時他的作品也會在台灣展出?亦或另一位法國的模板塗鴉大師BLEK LE RAT會不會也來亞洲展覽?
而當這念頭還在心中的塋繞的同時,才發現其實已在台北看過他和他的作品,不過當時只知道是塗鴉展但還不熟悉這位藝術家......damn it!! 我居然沒認出來....他就是BLEK LE RAT ...2005 in taiepi

1.BLEK LE RAT 法國塗鴉藝術家,也有參予倫敦與辦的CAN FESTIVAL,以及多本塗鴉圖文集都有介紹
2.2005年11月曾應邀至台北辦展

LABELLING


LABELLING

一直對於labels (stickers.hangtags.tab.pin...)的設計有著濃厚的興趣,從小也收集了各式各樣的labels,加上這幾年在大陸.越南.柬埔寨.美國.台灣等地的工廠中看過的標類,累計應該已超過數萬種了吧!
那天與另一位工廠的長輩聊了一會,感覺到或許是因為internet與blogs讓消費者只需要按下滑鼠左鍵兩下,很容易就可以接觸到一些新的訊息,反而使得大家越來越忽略label的重要性,產品的可貴性
當品牌在設立初期時,要思考定位.要設計圖樣要製作好的labels來詮釋品牌的概念...而一張張品質優良的標籤也代表著設計師的心血與供應商的努力,共同呈現在大眾面前,在產品方面,一個提案,一個品牌合作案,常常所需花費的時間也是超過數個月甚至一年,例如Bearbrick X Levis(TW) , Fragment X Kangol (NYC)的產品,好友Derek. David就花了超過一年的溝通才呈現完美的合作案,當然這些努力絕非等於"兩秒鐘的布落格訊息"!!

在選擇支持的labels時,應該還是要了解品牌概念,設計的努力,製成的精細,才不會流於盲從!
LABEL的細節度:
1.通稱的labeling分類大致分為:
吊卡 hangtag
織標 woven label
皮標 leather label
夾標.咬標 tab
貼紙標 sticker
金屬別針標 metal pin
水洗標 care label
尺寸標 size label 等等
2. Label 的製程隨著品牌的要求而有各種不同作法:
皮標烙印 embossed leather label
雷射雕紋 lasered label
印花織標 print woven label
提花織標 jacquard woven label 等等

3.標的周圍切邊方式也有
熱切.高周波等等
4.注意:若發現字體模糊不清可能是織標勾紗,網板目數不夠,印工技術不足,機台設備不夠好,設計圖檔有誤....或是故意的!
